About Us

The Club was formed in the early part of 1980 by Michael De-La-Hey and Fred French, both now sadly deceased, and was registered as THE TIDWORTH GARRISON GUN CLUB.  Its membership is drawn from a very wide catchment area, with the Garrison town of Tidworth as its focal point.

A short while ago the name of the Club was changed to the TIDWORTH RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB,  with current membership capped at around 100.
The Club shoots every weekend throughout the year and issues a quarterly newsletter, which details the shoot dates, results and any other Club and shooting related business.

The current membership fee is £66 per annum and a small Range fee is levied to help offset the cost of hiring the Range.
Membership is accepted subject to the satisfactory completion of a Probationary period, and assessments on Range discipline and safety.

The Club has an excellent reputation for a friendly atmosphere and welcomes both junior and senior members on all Ranges.
